For one of our clients, an Asset Manager based in Geneva we are looking for an :

Accountant Manager / Asset Management

Job description

• Perform the accounting of the company, maintaining the books and records in accordance with the applicable standards for each country and in accordance with the company's standards
• Supervise monthly accounting reports as part of the monthly company consolidation process
• Prepare the statutory accounts for the Swiss entities for the annual audit
• Maintain reports and dashboards on the securities, treasury and foreign exchange positions in the proprietary capital portfolio
• Complete the implementation of the new accounting system and further expand functionalities
• Enhance the supplier payments and staff expenses process related to the Swiss companies in the e-process tools
• Supervise invoicing of the Swiss companies, monitor intercompany fee invoices
• Supervise the periodic VAT, withholding tax and stamp duty declarations for the Swiss companies
• Maintain statistics and various reports of the Finance department
• Participate in other ad-hoc tasks & projects

Profile required

• University degree or equivalent in accounting or finance
• Minimum 10 years of experience in accounting in the financial services industry, in alternative asset management and private equity a plus
• Very good knowledge of Swiss GAAP and IFRS
• Strong IT skills
• Management experience in an international environment
• Strong analytical skills to analyze trends or spot exceptions quickly
• Track record of meeting deadlines and strong organisational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
